Dr. Pearson, associate professor (center), and former sport administration grad students Carolyn Harrison and Annesia Crawford-Penright recently spoke at the 84th Annual Texas Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance Convention.  Their presentation entitled “Female Entrepreneurship” addressed some of the salient issues impacting women administrators in sport and fitness programs.  Both Harrison and Crawford-Penright are currently owners of physical activity programs in Houston.
